When is the museum open?
Our permanent and temporary exhibitions are open Tuesdays - Sundays from 10:00-18:00 and Wednesdays from 10:00-20:30. The museum is closed on Mondays. Please note special opening times, which we communicate on the website.
How long does delivery take?
We process your order as quickly as possible. Processing and dispatch take place from Monday to Friday by 12:00. Delivery usually arrives after 1-2 working days.

How can I pay?
Payment is possible via PayPal or with MasterCard and VisaCard.
Are out-of-print publications reprinted?
As a rule, out-of-print publications are not reprinted. However, selected publications are available online at arthistoricum.
Should online tickets be printed out on the mobile phone?
If possible, purchase tickets in our online ticket shop. Your purchased ticket PDF will be scanned on the display of your mobile phone at the entrance control. In this case, you do not need to present your ticket as a printout.
What happens if I lose my ticket?
If you lose your ticket, you are not entitled to a replacement ticket or any other compensation.
Can I return or exchange tickets?
Please note that online tickets cannot be exchanged or returned after purchase. Unfortunately, it is not possible to rebook event tickets.
Is the museum barrier-free?
You can easily reach almost all areas of the museum in a wheelchair via ramps and lifts, although sometimes not directly. Our attendants will be happy to help you.
Who can help me if I have problems with my booking?
If you encounter any problems with your ticket booking, e.g. missing ticket PDFs, please send us your name and booking number to onlineshop@gnm.de. We will help you as soon as possible.
How many tickets can I buy online?
Registration is generally required for all groups. Therefore, the number of tickets you can purchase in the online shop is limited to four. If you would like to book a tour with more than one person, please contact the tour service on +49(0)911 1331 238 or at erwachsene@kpz- nuernberg.de.
Can I also shop in the museum?
Our museum shop offers a large selection of publications including the current exhibition catalogues as well as gift items related to art and culture.
